Dublin Connect > Emergencies

Under the EU Reciprocal Medical Treatment agreement EU citizens can be medically treated in Ireland. It is necessary for you to have an E111 form which you should get before travelling to Dublin. If you want to be treated under the EU’s social security arrangements, make sure that the doctor or dentist that you visit is registered with the Irish Health Board.

If you are a non-EU member check with your insurance broker before travelling to Ireland.

In an emergency go directly to the casualty department of major hospitals.
